Why Redistribution of Attraction Often Disappears as Girls Age

To be honest, a lot of black women don't tend to go after guys who aren't very masculine. They often prefer men with a little color, who are fit and have good jawlines. Not after the cute boy look.

Historical and Anthropological Context

At the risk of sounding like a terrible, horrible, racist jackass, I will provide my opinion based on anthropological theory. I am an egghead, always trying to understand everything and everyone.

It's crucial to remember that I am speaking from my own perspective as a white woman and with a fascination for human nature. Historically, white people have lived in vastly different conditions from black people. In many ways, we have developed in much less harsh environments.

Africa is one of the harshest places on earth. The environment is filled with extreme weather, flora, and fauna. From snakes that can kill in hours to lions that can devour in minutes, to heat that can bake you and bugs that can strip your bones in days - it's harsh. In contrast, the areas where white people developed were much less extreme.

Instinctive Preferences in Mate Selection

White people, with our slightly different set of qualities, look for in a mate. We find the traits like cuteness, youth, and innocence attractive. These are qualities that result from a more softened breeding environment. However, these qualities might not be as desirable for someone whose instincts are geared towards a harsher life.

Black women, on the other hand, prioritize traits that would be better suited for a harsher environment. These might include characteristics that are more about self-defense, resourcefulness, and strength. These traits are evaluated as far more important when considering the survival and success in a harsher environment.

Evolution of Attraction Over Time

You may have noticed that as girls grow older, the focus of attraction often changes. As you age, you will likely develop a more mature, fit, and confident appearance. As you do, you will see more diverse reactions to your physical traits.

It is important to clarify that I have no disrespect or intention to offend. My goal is to provide a perspective that may help in understanding human nature and the complexities of attraction.

Conclusion

Understanding these differences doesn't mean we should ignore them. Knowing that these differences exist can help in building more insightful and respectful relationships. The human experience is incredibly diverse and nuanced, and it's crucial to approach it with curiosity and respect.
