Unlike her, I had always been more reserved and enjoyed surfing and the beach. She, on the other hand, was in 4-H showing pigs and participating in youth rodeos. We were as different as night and day, and yet there was an undeniable chemistry between us.

In her, I saw a depth of intelligence and passion I had never encountered before. My shy demeanor quickly disappeared as I found myself drawn to her vibrant energy. From Adolescence to Adulthood

It's remarkable how life can change in a heartbeat. In 1974, we exchanged vows, officially uniting two lives that had journeyed from the comfort of childhood beginnings to the realities of adulthood. At just 15, our love was still tender and innocent, yet it carried the weight of true affection. The days of sneaking out at midnight were behind us, and we began building a life together, day by day.

Over the years, our relationship has grown stronger, and my brown-eyed bride has become more than just a partner in life. She has become the epitome of beauty, wisdom, and grace. At 64, she is still the woman of my dreams, embodying the woman I once imagined she could be. This journey has been filled with both challenges and joys, but our love remains unwavering.

We have had the privilege to travel together. Catching a cruise from our hometown of Galveston is a cherished activity, and we have already enjoyed eleven amazing trips to the Caribbean. Each voyage not only brings us closer together but broadens our horizons and deepens our appreciation for life.
