To discover what ‘real life’ is – is it the eighty years of life given to our physical body, or the eternal life given to our soul? Is it a good investment to dedicate all of our time and efforts towards material well-being, or should we focus on spiritual well-being? What does it say of our spiritual maturity if we choose to sacrifice all eternity for eighty years of satisfying our fancies and passions?

Man’s Free Will and Spiritual Purpose

As individuals, we were not created by ourselves; we were created by a Supreme Being. What was the purpose behind His creation of us? If we do not understand this purpose, how can we fulfill it?

Veilied in My immemorial being and in the ancient eternity of My essence, I knew My love for thee, therefore I created thee, have engraved on thee Mine image, and revealed to thee My beauty. I am Thee, and thou art Mine. O Son of Spirit!

Only mankind was given the gift of free will. Are we using this gift to fulfill the purpose outlined by God, or are we abusing it for our detriment?

O Son of Spirit! Noble have I created thee, yet thou hast abased thyself. Rise then unto that for which thou wast created.

Only when the lamp of search of earnest striving of longing desire of passionate devotion of fervid love of rapture and ecstasy is kindled within the seeker's heart and the breeze of His loving-kindness is wafted upon his soul will the darkness of error be dispelled, the mists of doubts and misgivings be dissipated, and the lights of knowledge and certitude envelop his being.
