Note: I observed two startup accounts in the same space of Social Media Content Generation. Despite initially appearing to have 30K followers, the low like count on their posts (only 3-5 likes) indicated that these were likely bot accounts.

High Volume of Activity: Actions that are impossible for humans to replicate, such as consecutive activities within an hour. Unnatural Follower and Following Ratio: Accounts with a high number of followers compared to following, or the reverse. Random Follows: Following you because of a hashtag used in your post, rather than genuine interest. Irrelevant Posts: Content that does not align with the page's usual theme or is clearly spammy.

Automated vs. Genuine Accounts

As aseasoned observer, I can often differentiate a bot from a genuine profile based on these characteristics:

Poor or no posting of stories. Consistent, low-quality content with no variation. Either an excessive number of followers or an excessive number of following. Following you based solely on the usage of a hashtag in your post. Posting irrelevant or spammy content.

By closely observing these signs, you can make an informed judgment about the authenticity of an Instagram account.
