A visit to the Amazon rainforest was a surreal adventure. One day, we threw out our leftover lunch bones to piranhas, which was both thrilling and slightly disgusting. We also witnessed the remarkable sight of pink freshwater dolphins. However, our trip was marred by heartbreaking events, such as a local girl with a missing leg, bitten by a snake, and unable to receive timely medical care. Additionally, we learned about a guide who ended up in prison for drug trafficking, a stark reminder of the dark side of travel.

Bringing my children to fun destinations like Walt Disney World and Sea World was a magical experience. Watching them enjoy the rides and the ocean, while feeling a profound sense of peace in the early morning quiet, was the highlight of these visits. A two-week trip to the state of Maine was another incredible journey, complete with succulent fresh lobsters and homemade blueberry pies. It was a truly memorable vacation, filled with delightful flavors and a serene ambiance.

In Tula, Russia, I met my future spouse, a life-changing event that led to a grand apartment overlooking the city. We celebrated New Year's Eve in style, with a private cabin in a resort and engaging in traditional Russian banya sessions.
